Good Morning LOIS Members,

Due to an untimely chain of events, we are having to change our location for tomorrow night’s meeting. We will be having our dinner in a private meeting room above the lounge @ the Best Western located on the corner of Harvey and Leckie. We would appreciate everyone showing up by 5:30 so we can get underway by 5:45.

I’m thrilled to announce that we have the pleasure of listening to Cpl. Sergio Dasilva and Sgt. Steve Barton with Kelowna detachment of the CFSEU – Outlaw Motorcycle Gang Unit, speak to us about the RCMP’s organized crime unit activities.

As always, kindly RSVP myself with this communication so that we can get a head tally for our event coordinator, to ensure a successful event.

Last year, our best year ever thanks to everyone’s support we raised $3,469.90 for the Canadian Cancer Society!!!

For our fundraising kick off this year, we are having another GARAGE & BAKE SALE with draws for a Mother’s day basket and a Silent Art Auction.

WHEN: Saturday May 12^th from 8:00 - 2:00 in the parking lot at 160 Dougall Rd South Kelowna

Good day all,

Well, maybe not such a good day with the drizzly weather, but it’s supposed to clear up for next week with temperatures hitting 26C. Lots of things happening

This month with the garage sale on Saturday, May 12^th , the next meeting on Tuesday, May 15^th back at Chances and our 28^th annual golf tournament on Friday, May 25^th. Who has time for work!

We had great fun at the Bowling for Kids last week @ Capri Bowling Lanes. JoAnne was busy snapping picture during the entire event, which I’m sure will find their way to the LOISW website.
